Gosh, we love a backyard wedding...and Ehlanna & Jake’s day in Falcon, just south of Mandurah, was the kind that sticks with you. They got ready in their own home, surrounded by their beloved fur babies, a place lovingly mid-reno, full of charm and history, with vintage wallpaper whispering stories from years gone by. Their ceremony took place just down the road, framed by the grass trees and hints of native blooms from Euca Flora, with their closest crew gathered tight around them. After the "I do’s," it was off to the beach for drinks with their ride-or-die gang, salty air, sandy toes, and a whole lot of love. The backyard reception was everything: festoon lights glowing, dinner cooked by family and friends, shots passed around under the stars, a couple of sideline sheep keeping watch, and dancing into the night under the pergola. Their story was our favourite style, nothing forced, just real moments unfolding naturally. The kind of wedding that proves you don’t need a big venue to have a day that feels wildly special. Just love, connection, and a backyard that means something. We’ll never forget this one.
