Kate & Tom’s wedding at Venue One at Skigh Wines in Yallingup was the perfect blend of elegant celebration and laid-back fun. Tucked within 40 acres of rustic gardens and native bushland, this secluded South West wedding venue is one of our favourites to shoot at. Their day had a relaxed English spring garden party feel, with the warm light of March filtering through trees. After a beautiful ceremony by Liz Quike, guests followed the sounds of a live saxophonist (like a modern-day pied piper) through the gardens into the pre-reception—champagne in hand, mingling under the trees, surrounded by fairy tale vibes. The styling struck a balance between semi-formal and playful, with disposable film cameras never far from guests hands and the most heartfelt, hand-drawn place cards made by some very special little people (our favourite table details yet!). Kate + Tom's wedding party was casual, beautiful & such a fun celebration that felt deeply personal, done their way, and we loved it!!!
Yallingup weddings don’t get much more special than this.
